I have worked hard all my life and I will work hard for you to get you the best result possible in whatever legal matter that you need help with.

I worked my way through college and law school. I went to college at Purdue University where I graduated in the top Ten Percent of my class. I worked summers for a local construction company and I worked evenings as a bartender to pay my way through school. After graduation I worked for a large US Corporation for a number of years as an operations manager.

I got bored with my corporate job and wanted to help people so I decided to attend law school. I attend the University of the Pacific Law School. I again worked my way through law school. I began as an intern at the US Federal Defenders Office. They ultimately hired me. I then left there to get more courtroom experience with a job at the Sacramento County Public Defenders Office. By the time I graduated from law school I already had hundreds of hours of courtroom experience. During law school I also owned a bar that regularly had internationally known musical acts perform there.

I hired Terry Smith to represent my son on two separate occasions after my son was charged with criminal offenses. The first case was a domestic violence case that the prosecutor would not dismiss so Mr. Smith said we would set the case for trial and see that the jury would say. The prosecutor finally dismissed the case right before trial.
The second case my son, who had a prior felony conviction, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The police came to my son’s house, searched his home WITH HIS CONSENT, they found the gun in his home and my son admitted to the gun being his.
